The spring SWOC meeting was held at this very attractive venue, close to Plymouth. The meeting was hosted by Christoph McAllen and Jonathan Keenan and organised by Sue Nash and Rachel Payne, their medical secretaries. There was a full programme.
22 excellent papers were presented. The Prize for the best went to Graeme Carlisle for the ” Preliminary results of a method for early ankle fixation using a percutaneous approach”. The star attractions at the end of the afternoon comprised Mark Brinsden and Ian Grant on their medical experiences in extreme environments. Both were stimulating and frankly humbling.
As usual this was a lively meeting which was very well attended and the setting and the catering were excellent.
A large number stayed for the evening meal and a good time was had by all!
